Since letting go of Ambleside online year one((we plan to do year one next year), we have rediscovered things we enjoyed and had forgotten. Living math. We do have a more traditional math curriculum that we follow, but we look forward to doing living math each week too. This week we talked about shapes, shapes are all around us.
We collected leaves, cut out spirals, etc.
The spirals made for a pretty display I think.

Looks like fun! I'm not real sure what living math really is but I can see sort of a concept. I have a bit of a hard time with the whole living books too. I do love ambleside online and simply Charlotte Mason dot com. God bless
