Thunderstorms

We here in the sunny coastal south have had
more than 8 days in a row of
rain, more accurately,
thunderstorms.
Now, daily late afternoon thunderstorms
are not unusual for us, but they are only
short lived and then the sun is back out.
No, these thunderstorms have
stayed all day every day.
There has been no sign of the sun, local
flooding is common.

Our yard is wet, wet, wet.

But, our grass and other vegetation is green, green, green.

With all the lighting and thunder,
my son has asked many questions.
Sounds like an opportunity for learning.

and the learning began.
