Shake, Shake, Shake

After reading on several blogs about butter making,
we decided to give it a try.
So glad we did.

First, we got out a pretty mason jar, a marble,
and some heavy cream.
Then we poured heavy cream into the mason jar(about half full)
and dropped in the marble.

Then shake, shake, shake...

Stopped to check and taste....
Not quite there yet.
So,...

More shake, shake, shake.

Finally, done.
We added a little honey to ours, yummy.
And as a added bonus,
enjoyed some delicious butter milk.
The sweet award for all that hard work.
