Tidelands Nature Center

 Twice a month, the boys are taking a marine biology class

at the Tidelands Nature Center.

Last week, we learned about herpetology.

And then did some canoeing.

 My oldest and his pals.

 Off went the boys!

Off went to younger boys!

First Piano Lesson

My brown eyed boy has been playing on the keyboard at home

all summer.

Asking Daddy to teach him a new tune each day.

August we decided it was time for formal lessons

and off he went.

He loves it

and his teacher says he will zip through the first book

in no time.

September 3, 2013- First Day of Home School

My blue eyed "wildman" 1st grader.

He is such the poser.

My oldest, "buddy", who starts 5th grade.

"Monkey with dimples" is starting 1st grade.

Looking forward to starting our journey.  Each year brings new challenges

and new triumphs.

Oldest first 5K, a RAD run

 My oldest wanted to run a 5K with me.

 He had fun and looks forward to the next one.

He and his buddy ran a fast 5K.
